On the pockets we have added a Native American pattern used by the Navajo tribes to remember the original people of this land and to honor them and their knowledge. This pattern has been used on rugs for many generations and includes zig zags for lightening bolts, Diamond shaped for the four corners of the ancestral homeland and triangles for everlasting life.
